Why this treatment

Why choose this treatment to treat the root

Three strengths, one sentence each.

01

Technical and precise

A gentle hands-on method, inherited from osteopathy, that acts on the fascia, bones, organs and viscera, with no abrupt manipulation.

02

To help the body repair itself

Ideal after an accident, surgery or physical trauma. Restores mobility, supports rehabilitation.

03

Reaching the root

Looks for the real mechanical cause, not just the symptom. For lasting benefits, not fleeting relief.

How it unfolds

How a session unfolds

  1. Before the session

A moment of conversation to understand your situation, the history of the pain, and any relevant medical background.

  2. During the session

You lie down, fully clothed. The hands-on work is targeted on the areas concerned: skull, jaw, back, abdomen, TMJ, according to your indication. Duration: 1h.

  3. After the session

A moment of conversation to share what was felt and to consider next steps.

What the people I support have to say

Catherine Monin

I heard about biodynamic craniosacral therapy at a talk. Following various ENT disorders and strong tension in my head and neck, I wanted to try this therapy. I was struck by the deep sense of relaxation I felt during the first session. After three sessions, my symptoms have improved markedly: my head feels more relaxed and I no longer feel as if I'm living in a resonance box with a blocked nose every morning. I'm very glad to have discovered this method.

Héloïse is infinitely gentle and immediately puts you at ease, while quickly understanding your request and what may lie beneath certain, sometimes unconscious, issues. Tiny movements that release so much (the sinuses, in my case): thank you from the bottom of my heart! Right in the centre of town, the practice is easy to reach and welcoming. A place, and above all a person, you want to see again soon.

Héloïse truly has a gift for listening to what the body has to say. She brought gentleness where there was tension. I have just come out of a session with Héloïse, aimed at reducing tinnitus. I felt a lot happening during the treatment, with quite intense activity in the targeted areas. Her kindness, her listening and her energy are wonderful. I can only recommend that you try this treatment with Héloïse: a really good moment for me.

Héloïse is gentle, attentive and caring. I had a session for muscle pain in my ankle. During the session, I was able to connect with my pain gently, with a feeling of complete presence. The sensations had disappeared entirely by the end of the session. Shortly afterwards the sensation came back, but no longer as pain at all, rather a slight discomfort that appeared whenever I was tired or not listening to myself.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is the treatment painful?
No. Even when applied to painful areas, the touch remains gentle. No abrupt manipulation, no cracking.
How many sessions should I plan for?
3 to 5 sessions generally allow one mechanical indication to be treated. For long-standing chronic conditions, longer support may be suggested.
What is the difference with an osteopath?
Structural health draws on the principles of tissue and visceral osteopathy, in an even gentler approach. No cracking, no forceful mobilisation.
Can bruxism be treated by the treatment alone?
Bruxism often combines a mechanical component (TMJ, skull, neck) and a stress-related component. The Structural health work acts on the tensions and mechanical imbalances. When stress plays an important role, it can be complemented by the Mental health work.
When should I consult after an accident or a fall?
Once the acute phase has passed and in the absence of a fracture, the treatment helps the body release residual tension before it settles in for the long term.
